Brent Heighton bio

Working as a full time artist for over 30 years, has allowed Brent to travel all over the world in search of ideas and subjects to paint. Brent’s most significant inspiration has over the last few years has come through discovering the romance and the light of the Baja.

Brent’s whimsical, impressionist paintings are a living presence in the Golden Cactus Gallery and his work is a favorite with collectors worldwide who have found their way to Los Cabos. His style is recognizable through the many reproductions of his fine artwork in galleries across North America, Europe and Asia.

Brent has exhibited in New York, Tokyo, Germany, Belgium, Holland and many parts of the USA and Canada. Brent’s work has won him numerous awards throughout the USA and Canada and he is in high demand as an instructor. However, the important thing, as Brent points out, is not the awards, but how it makes you feel putting your feelings on paper or canvas so that the person observing can experience the joy you had in painting that particular piece of art. “If you can make that connection with someone, it feels great inside” he says.
